Christianity today is full of churches proclaiming that all religions worship the same God and therefore we should embrace them. The Catholic church promotes that idea with Interfaith doctrine and goes as far as to state in the Catechism that the Muslims worship the same God as Christianity and therefore will enjoy the same salvation equally. This means that they think it doesn't matter if you're a Christian or a Muslim and that you can find salvation through either religion.

The Muslims, on the other hand, have no such belief. In fact, Muslim doctrine teaches that Jesus is just a prophet, not the manifestation of God in the flesh, and that He will return at the end time to teach Christians the Muslim way and convert them. The prophecies of the Bible and the Muslim prophecies concerning the Antichrist (the Muslim Mahdi) and the false prophet (the Muslim Jesus) mirror each other but the good guys of Islam are the bad guys of the Bible. This is a very good indication that the Antichrist will rise as the Mahdi of Islam and will unite the Christian world with him via the false prophet and create a global Islamic religion. The Bible tells us that this end time religion will be forced upon people or they will be killed if they refuse. The Muslim prophecies tell us that the Muslims will kill any who won't convert to Islam.

The Bible tells us that the world will be fooled by the false prophet performing miracles in the sight of men, like pulling fire from the sky. The false prophet will seem to everyone to have Godly power and will fool everyone into worshiping the Antichrist.

Is Islam really a true religion worshiping the same God as Christianity?

I had to ask myself this question:  who is the God of Islam?  Is it really the same God that Abraham worshiped as they want us to believe?

It is asserted by Muslims that the Meccan Arabs are descendents of Ishmael, the son of Abraham. They also claim that Ishmael settled in Mecca where he, along with Abraham, built the Kabah and passed on the religion of the true God to his offspring. It is believed that throughout time the Ishmaelites perverted the worship of the true God, not by abandoning their belief in him, but by adding other gods in their worship, thus perverting the religion of the God of their father Ishmael.  It is actually provable that this is not true, as I will show you.

In the Old Testament, near Israel's beginnings, worship of a false God called Baal began, and consisted of worshiping the heavenly bodies, of which the moon is the largest in the sky.  The Biblical and historical evidence shows that the Moabites worshiped Baal. The pre-Islamic and Muslim sources show (a) that the Meccans took over the idol Hubal from the Moabites and (b) that Allah and Hubal are actually identical.  Thus, whether the Meccans are Ishmaelites or not, the evidence is still strong and sufficient to conclude that Muhammad's Allah is actually Hubal, i.e., the Baal of the Moabites and thus not the God of the Bible. Muhammad incorporated the characteristics and names of various other gods into his new monotheistic message about Allah, but he apparently started the construction of Allah with Hubal, the chief god of the Meccans.

The pre-Islam pagan Arabs worshipped the Moon-god Allah by praying toward Mecca several times a day; making a pilgrimage to Mecca; running around the temple of the Moon-god called the Kabah; kissing the black stone; killing an animal in sacrifice to the Moon-god; throwing stones at the devil; fasting for the month which begins and ends with the crescent moon; giving alms to the poor, etc.

If you have read the news in recent months, you know that modern day Muslims practice these very rituals.

The Muslims are worshiping the same false god that people have been worshiping since early times as far back as Israel's beginnings.

Most importantly, Muslims say you don’t need to believe in Jesus Christ to be saved!  Muslims will admit that Jesus Christ was a true prophet, but deny that He was the Messiah (although some Western Muslims will say He was anointed), they will deny that He was God manifested in the flesh as of the Son of God (John 1:14), and they will deny that He died on the cross and rose again.  Does that make sense?  Absolutely not! That belief cannot be truth because Jesus Christ Himself said He was the Messiah, and said He was the Son of God!

John 4:26 Jesus saith unto her, I that speak unto thee am he.

John 9:35 Jesus heard that they had cast him out; and when he had found him, he said unto him, Dost thou believe on the Son of God? 36 He answered and said, Who is he, Lord, that I might believe on him? 37 And Jesus said unto him, Thou hast both seen him, and it is he that talketh with thee.

That would make Him a false prophet according to the Muslim beliefs!  How twisted is that?  But it’s a lie believed by one and a half billion people.  We absolutely must believe that Jesus Christ is God manifest in the flesh, was crucified for our sins and rose again.  This is the gospel!

John 8:24 I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins.

John 3:18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

Acts 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

There is no salvation in any other name but Jesus!  Not Mohammed, not Buddha; no other name…

Islam goes even further than simple disbelief, and says that the name of Jesus is "the most awful name".

Hadith Sahih Bukhari, Volume 8, Book 73, Number 224: Narrated by Abu Huraira

Allah's Apostle said, "The most awful name in Allah's sight on the Day of Resurrection, will be (that of) a man calling himself Malik Al-Amlak (the king of kings)."

Now, according to the Word of God: 1 Tim 6:15, Rev 17:14 and Rev 19:16, Jesus Christ is the King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

This means that Muslims are instructed to hate the Jesus of the Bible.

The word Islam means "submission".  Not only in the sense of submission to Allah, but in the sense of making everyone submit to the rule of Islam.  Islam is about subduing the world and making it submit.  The Muslims believe that Mohammed is the exemplar of right conduct.  They aspire to be like him in the same manner that Christians aspire to be like Jesus.  Mohammed said to spread, through warfare, the rules of Islam.  Mohammed became increasingly violent during his career and spent 10 years in Medina creating an army to overthrow his homeland, Mecca, after he was ran off by the pagans in 622 AD.  He killed thousands of people and subdued Arabia through war.  Muslims are encouraged to commit acts of heroism in combat.  They are promised that those who kill and are killed will be rewarded with paradise.  This is the basis for suicide bombers.  They believe that since they are killing while they are killed that the sin of suicide is covered by the martyrdom of their action and, as such, they will be rewarded in heaven.  Islam is a religion of political rule, a system of government.  It is not about a personal relationship with Allah, it is about bringing the world under submission to its rule.

The Quran (Koran) was written over time during the life of Mohammed (conveyed or recited by him).  He started as a peaceful man, but as time went on he changed many of his values.  As he became increasingly violent, his writings matched his attitude.  The correct interpretation of the Quran is to take any conflict in doctrine, of which there is a whole lot, and replace an older verse with the latest one, supplanting it's meaning with the more recent version in a process called abrogation.  The problem is that the Quran is compiled from the longest Sura to the shortest, so it's nearly impossible to know which conflicting verse to believe or obey.  The Muslims have a whole committee of scholars to interpret the Quran and decide which verses were written first and the succession of them to the last.

If you think Islam is a religion of peace, as they claim, just look at all the wars they are involved in today, in Europe, China, Africa, etc., and the mindset of Muslims as a whole as they chant "Death to Israel, Death to America", while they are working toward their goal of subduing the world.  Islam is a religion of peace only when they have conquered the world and subjected it to the rule of Islam. Also, if the son of the ruler of Hamas says that Islam has no moderates, then I believe him.

Now, on a side note, Mosab Hassan Yousef (the son of the ruler of Hamas) made the point that there is no moderate Islam in those that truly adhere to their faith, but this does not include the phony Muslims.

The three types of moderate Muslims:

By phony, I mean those who do not truly believe but identify as Muslim for cultural reasons, maybe out of fear for their life, because their family is Muslim. Does this mean they are "moderate"? No, they will do whatever it takes to continue making their relatives believe that they believe, mostly out of self-preservation. These are they that will encourage their devout brother to commit the atrocities that they themselves do not want to do. Don't expect these so called "moderates" to stop their devout brother, or do anything to save you.The second type are those who do not truly understand their own religion. I have seen and heard many testimonies of ex-Muslims who did not understand their own religion. And, I recently saw a video of a man talking about how he, as a Muslim, thought his religion was a peaceful religion, but as he grew to understand Islam and read the Quran, he came to understand that it is not a peaceful religion and that he was actually instructed to kill for Allah.  This is a great example of how many Muslims, like Christians who never read their Bible, do not understand their own religion, and how the Imams (preachers of Islam) use the practice of Taqiyya (lying to assist the ascendency of Islam) on their own people and lure them in with promises of peace and love while they hope to bring them in deeper and turn them into devout Muslims who will die for them.The third type are those who are purposefully and deceitfully practicing Taqiyya (deceit to assist in the ascendency of Islam).  This is used by Muslims to placate those who would be a threat until they can either over-power them or defeat them from within by infiltrating their society.  The leaders of Islam even use this on new Muslim converts to lure them in, and then slowly lead them to stronger and stronger doctrine as they become devout Muslims.

The religion of the end time in Islamic prophecy vs the Bible

There is ample evidence that the Islamic religion will be the false religion of the End Time used the by biblical Antichrist. Here's why I think so:

The Islamic/Muslim prophecies are a parallel but opposite mirror of biblical prophecy concerning the End Time. The Muslim good guys are the Bible's bad guys.

The Muslim prophecies listed here are found in the Quran and the Sunnah. Some believe Mohammed was possessed by a demon who gave him these parallel prophecies (Mohammed actually said that he feared he was possessed), but it could simply be that he had a copy of the book of Revelation and patterned this all after the Bible so as to look authentic. Personally, I believe he was either possessed or given this information and guided to build the Islamic religion by a demon or the devil himself.

Much of the teaching in Islam comes from the Hadith and Sunnah. It's not like the Bible where I can just give you a verse to read. As such, the Islamic prophecies listed are from multiple sources. They all come from the Q'uran, Hadith, Sunnah and other Muslim sources - see references below

Please remember that these Islamic prophecies are not biblical but they show how very deeply the Muslims of the world will be fooled because they mirror so closely what will actually happen, and it will seem as if their prophecies are coming true even though they are supporting the devil and his Antichrist.

Bible: The Antichrist is an unparalleled political, military, and religious leader that will emerge in the last days. - Dan 8:24-25, Dan 11:40, Rev 13:7-8

Islam: The Mahdi is an unparalleled political, military, and religious leader that will emerge in the last days.

Bible: the False Prophet is a secondary prominent figure that will emerge in the last days who will support the Antichrist.- Rev 13:11-15, Rev 19:20, Rev 20:10

Islam: the Muslim Jesus is a secondary prominent figure that will emerge in the last days to support the Mahdi.

Bible: The Antichrist and the False Prophet together will have a powerful army that will do great damage to the earth in an effort to subdue every nation and dominate the world. - Rev 13, Dan 7:7, Dan 7:23

Islam: The Mahdi and the Muslim Jesus will have a powerful army that will attempt to control every nation of the earth and dominate the world.

Bible: The False Prophet is described essentially as a dragon in lamb's clothing. - Rev 13:11

Islam: The Muslim Jesus comes bearing the name of the one that the world knows as 'The Lamb of God, Jesus Christ." Yet the Muslim Jesus comes to murder all those who do not submit to Islam.

Bible: The Antichrist and the False Prophet establish a new world order. - Rev 13:16-17

Islam: The Mahdi and the Muslim Jesus establish a new world order.

Bible: The Antichrist and the False Prophet institute new laws for the whole earth. - Dan 7:25, Rev 13

Islam: The Mahdi and the Muslim Jesus institute Islamic law all over the earth.

Bible: The Antichrist is said to "change the times." - Dan 7:25

Islam: It is quite certain that if the Mahdi established Islam all over the earth, he would discontinue the use of Saturday and Sunday as the weekend for days of rest but rather Friday, the holy day of Islam. Also, he would most certainly eliminate the Gregorian calendar and replace it with the Islamic calendar used in every Islamic country.

Bible: The Antichrist and the False Prophet will both be powerful religious leaders who will attempt to institute a universal world religion. - Rev 13:12

Islam: The Mahdi and the Muslim Jesus will institute Islam as the only religion on the earth.

Bible: The Antichrist and the False Prophet will execute anyone who does not submit to their world religion. - Rev 13:15

Islam: Likewise, the Mahdi and the Muslim Jesus will execute anyone who does not submit to Islam.

Bible: The Antichrist and the False Prophet will specifically use beheading as the primary means of execution for non-conformists. - Rev 20:4

Islam: The Mahdi and the Muslim Jesus will use the Islamic practice of beheading for executions.

Bible: The Antichrist and the False Prophet will have a specific agenda to kill as many Jews and Christians as possible. - Rev 13:7, Dan 7:21, Dan 11:30

Islam: The Mahdi and the Muslim Jesus hate Jews and Christians and will kill as many as possible until only a few are left hiding behind rocks and trees.

Bible: The Antichrist and the False Prophet will attack to conquer and seize Jerusalem (the battle of Armageddon). - Rev 16:14, Rev 18:19, Ez 38:16

Islam: The Mahdi and the Muslim Jesus will attack to reconquer and seize Jerusalem for Islam.

Bible: The Antichrist will set himself up in the Jewish Temple as his seat of authority (the abomination of desolation). - 2 Thess 2:4, Dan 11:45, Dan 9:26-27, Dan 11:31, Dan 12:11, Matt 24:15

Islam: The Mahdi will establish the Islamic caliphate from Jerusalem.

Bible: The False Prophet is said to do many miracles to deceive as many as possible into supporting the Antichrist. - Rev 13:13-14

Islam: The Mahdi himself is said to control the weather and the crops. His face is said to glow. We can also assume that since Jesus is viewed as having been empowered by Allah to work miracles when He was here on earth the first time, He will most likely be expected to continue to do so when He returns.

Bible: The belief at the time of Muhammad (and still believed by some people today) was that the Antichrist is described as riding on a white horse in the Book of Revelation. - Rev 6:2

Islam: The Mahdi is described as riding on a white horse (ironically in the same verse in Revelation).

Bible: The Antichrist is said to make a peace treaty (with many) with Israel for seven years (the Confirmation of the Covenant). - Dan 9:27

Islam: The Mahdi is said to make a peace treaty through a Jew (specifically a Levite) for exactly seven years.

Bible: Jesus the Jewish Messiah will return to defend the Jews in Israel from a military attack from a vast coalition of nations led by the Antichrist and the False Prophet (the battle of Armageddon). - Rev 19:11-16, Dan 7:9-13 and 22, Dan 2:34, Dan 2:44-45

Islam: The Dajjal, the Islamic Antichrist, will gain a great Jewish following and claim to be Jesus Christ and fight against the Mahdi and the Muslim Jesus.

Bible: The antichrist spirit specifically denies the most unique and central doctrines of Christianity, namely the divinity of Jesus, the incarnation of God in the flesh, and the substitutionary death of Jesus on the Cross. - Dan 11:30 - Makes war with the saints as shown in above scriptures - The world today is trying to make Jesus unimportant and deny that He is God Himself

Islam: Islam doctrinally and spiritually specifically denies the most unique and central doctrines of Christianity, namely the divinity of Jesus, the incarnation of God in the flesh, and the substitutionary death of Jesus on the Cross.

Bible: The primary warning of Jesus and the Apostle Paul was to warn Christians of the abundance of deceit and deception in the last days. - Matt 24:24, Matt 24:11, Col 2:8, 2 Cor 11:3, 2 Thessalonians 2:10, 1 Tim 4:1-2, Titus 1:16

Islam: Islam is perhaps the only religion on earth that practices deceit as one of its tools to assist its own ascendancy. It actually has a specific doctrine which allows and even calls for deception to be used to achieve its desired end.

Bible: From the Bible and history we learn that the final Antichrist empire will be a revived version of the empire that succeeds the Roman Empire (the iron mingled with clay of Daniel 2). - Dan 2:31-45

Islam: The empire that succeeded the Roman Empire was the combined Holy Roman Empire in parallel with the Islamic Ottoman Empire.

Bible: When the Antichrist emerges, a system will already exist poised to receive him as a savior and to give allegiance to him. - From Rev 13 and 17, Dan 11 and events that we know will happen, like the 6th trumpet war, we can see how the Bible shows us this is all being orchestrated right now with the "New World Order" and many other things.

Islam is already the second largest religion and combined with Christianity constitutes over half of the worlds population. Islam awaits the coming of the Mahdi with universal anticipation. The Catholic church and many Christian churches believe that the Muslims will be saved just like Christianity will be, and believe that they worship the same God as Christianity. It's a very short step to convert to Islam if that is believed to be the truth.

Now, this is the kicker... the cement that holds it all together... this shows us how it will all happen...

Understanding how the Muslims of the world will be fooled so badly by the False Prophet and the Antichrist becomes even more mind blowing when we understand how the Catholics of the world will also fall into this same trap:

It is incredibly eye-opening to learn that Catholic prophecy bears a very similar mirror of Biblical prophecy, where the Antichrist will be the "Great Monarch" and will be promoted by an "Angelic Pope" and they will fight the real Jesus (believing He is their antichrist) much the same as with Islamic prophecy. Thus, Catholics will be prone to the same exact deception as Muslims and will think it's their prophecy coming to pass when in fact it's the Bible's Antichrist and False Prophet causing the world to worship the Beast which is essentially Satan.

There are thousands of "prophecies" that have come from Catholics over the last 1700 years, and many conflict with each other, but there is a central theme of belief in The Great Monarch (which some believe is the second coming of Apollo), and the last Pope (St Malachy's prophecy of the 112th Pope, who just happens to be the current Pope Francis), and that this last Pope will work with the final emperor (The Great Monarch) to drive apostates out of Islam, Judaism and Christianity to combine all religions into one global religion.

As we've seen with Islamic prophecy, the devil engineered it so closely with Biblical prophecy that it will fool the world into believing it is their prophecy coming to pass when in fact it will be the opposite and will be the Antichrist and False Prophet as told to us in the Bible.

Catholic prophecy mirrors Islamic prophecy of the Muslim Jesus (the final Pope) and the Mahdi (the final emperor) and the Dajjal (the real Jesus) when He returns to destroy the enemies of God.

So, it's a mind blowing revelation to learn how all these things will work together to fool the entire world!

Common belief is that this final emperor will appear on the scene at the same time as the final Pope.

Democracy will be seen as a failed system and the world will be ready to accept a socialist monarchy (already happening among the Western World's youth).

A "just war" will take place to drive out the "apostates", which will end up being WW3, the 6th Trumpet War of the Bible, and will kill over 2 billion people.

It is very likely that this war is that which causes the world to feel enough fear to put themselves in the hands of the Antichrist, whom the Bible tells us will obtain his kingdom and power by flatteries, and his brilliance with "a mouth speaking great things", and "by peace" will destroy many.

In the name of peace he will be fighting wars and subduing the world that did not already give him their allegiance. The Bible shows us the Lion, Bear and Leopard (most likely Britain, Russia and Germany) will align with the kingdom of the Antichrist (10 Islamic kings who give him their power), and these combined powers will subdue the remaining nations of the world.

Rome, and the Great Whore (the Vatican) will ride upon this union and the False Prophet will cause the world to worship the Antichrist through miracles done in the sight of men by the power of Satan.

We know from Biblical prophecy that the last ruling "broken, divided" co-empire was and is the Holy Roman / Islamic Ottoman empire, and that it will be the last kingdom ruling when Jesus returns. It is very likely that the Pope will crown the Antichrist (The Great Monarch) as King of the Holy Roman Empire.

Pope Francis has called the world to "get ready for the end time" and appears to believe these Catholic prophecies and may even see himself as the earths savior and believes himself to be this prophesied Pope.

He is the greatest promoter of Interfaithism and is working very hard to bring the world under a One World Religion, and the New World Order.

He has had Islamic prayer in the Vatican, has been to prayer in Islamic Mosques, and has met with the top Islamic Imam stating the "the meeting itself is the message".

Pope Francis is the "Evangelical Pope" and many Christian churches are following him and going back to their mother (the Great Falling Away). The new Christian church of today is becoming Chrislam and fulfilling prophecy by going back to their "mother of harlots".

We are well into, and well on the way to further Biblical fulfillment...

Jesus will be coming soon!

We can see that the whole world will be fooled by the false prophet and the Antichrist, including the Muslims and the Catholics! The Muslims will believe it is their Mahdi, while the rest of the world will follow the interfaith movement into believing that being a Muslim is the same as Christianity in that we all worship the same God and therefore will enjoy the same salvation. As stated, the Catholic church has already included Islam as part of God's people and many Christian churches are following this belief. This means that everyone who is fooled by this will think it's perfectly ok to convert to Islam.

Now, should we hate Muslims because they worship a false god and hate the lord Jesus?

Absolutely not.

It is our job to try to help those Muslims who think it's a peaceful religion to understand the truth of it. This does not mean we should be ok with a false religion by any means, but that we should talk to any who are willing to listen and help them to understand, if at all possible.

What will the world of the end time look like?

The nations of the end time

The empires of the world from Babylon to today were foretold and since we live in a time where history proves what those prophecies were, we have the unique pleasure of seeing prophecy unfold.

The book of Daniel gives us two symbolic pictures of the end time governments.

In one perspective we see that there will be 4 kingdoms in existence at the end time and they will exist when Jesus returns, conquers them, and sets up His kingdom on the earth. These kingdoms mentioned specifically are Britain, Russia, Germany, and the final government of the New World Order that the Antichrist will rule.

In the other perspective we see that the Medes and the Persians rule after Babylon, then the Greek empire, then the Roman, and finally the Holy Roman / Islamic Ottoman co-empires. Both of these final empires together comprised the total area controlled by the Roman Empire. From the Bible and history we learn that the final Antichrist empire will be a revived version of the empire that succeeds the Roman Empire.

The Bible tells us that this final (divided, co-empire) will be used as the world government of the Antichrist and his false prophet. The Antichrist will bring the Muslim world together, reviving the Ottoman empire, while the false prophet will bring in Europe, reviving the Holy Roman empire, and the two will unite them as one. The Bible tells us that the Antichrist will rule the whole world, but it also says that during this last 3.5 years he will be fighting wars as he conquers more and more nations. Not all nations will fall under his rule in so short a time (the area which is now Jordan is one that is specifically mentioned to “escape out of his hand”, among others), but he will rule the last world dominating empire.

The Bible tells us that some of the nations that exist today will exist when Jesus returns and that the Holy Roman / Ottoman Empires will be revived and be united in the New World Order that the Antichrist will use to rule the world.

Islam is predicted in the Fourth Seal of Revelation.

In Revelation 6:1-8 and Zechariah 6:1-8, we're given a warning of the spirits that will be controlling the world in the last days. The pale/green horse of Revelation and the grisled and bay horses of Zechariah tell us about the spirit of Islam.

The pale horse went south and Death sat on him and Hell followed him and he was given power to kill with the sword and hunger and the beasts of the world.  The southern hemisphere contains most of the poverty stricken nations.  War, crime, revolution, hunger and beasts of the earth are more prominent in the more backward nations of the third world.  But the word "beast" here is the same word used to describe a "king" in other areas of the Bible, so it very likely refers to the fact that many of the "kings" of the Middle East are killing their own people.  The last 100 years have seen more death than the entire history of man (wars, abortions, etc.)  The passage in Zechariah splits the pale/green horse in two; into the grisled and bay horses.  That makes this prophecy easier to understand in that it has two components: Islam and Death.  A very interesting thing about this horse is that the meaning of the original Greek word is interpreted as “pale” in the King James Bible, but the word chloros (khlo-ros'); also means greenish, or pale green.  This word (chloros) is also used in 3 other places in the Bible: Mark 6:39, Revelation 8:7 and Revelation 9:4.  In all three of these other places it was interpreted correctly as green.  This horse was also given power over the fourth part of the earth.  Since we know these horses are spirits, it is very, very interesting that the color of Islam is green (their flags, etc.), and that there are 1.8 billion Muslims (Islam followers) in the world today.  That’s almost exactly one fourth of the world population.  This horse went south; and 96.5% of the world’s Muslims are in the southern hemisphere, in Africa and Southern Asia.

Can Islam be defined as “Death”?  I’ve seen arguments that the terrorists are only the “radicals” and poor Muslims being recruited, but if you look at the history of the men that hijacked the planes on 9/11, they came from middle class and wealthy families.  The attacks that are happening everywhere, the suicide bombings, the masses of Muslims chanting, “Death to Israel, death to America”, are not only the poor and radical, it is the mindset of Islam as a whole.  Look at what happened recently in Palestine.  They knowingly elected a terrorist organization into their government! And, given what we know about Islam and how it will be used by the Antichrist, the term “death” here may be referring to the “second death” of Revelation where those that are not saved come before God on judgment day.  And, given what we know about Islam and how it will be used by the Antichrist, the term "death" here may be referring to the "second death" of Revelation where those that are not saved come before God on judgment day.

What we're waiting for in the near future

The event we're looking for right now, that could happen very soon, is the Confirmation of the Covenant. T he confirmation of the covenant is this: there will be an international agreement to confirm the status of Jerusalem and the permanent borders of Israel. These things are being fought over right now with the Palestinians. The Bible says that the Antichrist will confirm the covenant along with many others for 7 years. This event will be the beginning of the last 7 years of Daniels 490 years. It may be hard to identify the Antichrist at that time because he will be just one of many.

Approximately 8 months (.7 years) after the Confirmation of the Covenant, the Antichrist will begin to take over the world.

The Antichrist and the false prophet will team up around this time.

The Jewish temple will be rebuilt and animal sacrifices will be resumed by the Jews.

Jerusalem will be “surrounded by armies”, which is likely a picture of it being policed by UN and/or other forces to force peace in the Middle East.

In the midst of this last 7 years (three and one half years in), the Antichrist will cause the animal sacrifices being performed in the rebuilt temple to cease, and will cause the “abomination of desolation” by either claiming to be God or acting in the place of God. That is when we will definitely know who he is.

The false prophet will cause the world to worship the Antichrist. This will be made possible by the power given him by the devil himself. He will perform miracles before the world, like pulling fire from the sky.

God's two witnesses will begin their prophecy at this time. They will not be able to be killed for the whole 3.5 years but will be killed at the very end.

The Bible tells us that they (the world) shall say, “peace and safety”. This is the call of the New World Order. The Antichrist will come in the name of peace to take over the world, and the Bible says that the people of the world will be thinking they've finally made it, reveling and partying, proclaiming that mankind has finally done it and brought peace to the world!

The Antichrist will implement what's called the mark of the beast. It will very likely be a RFID type of system. They can put a chip under your skin today and they even have a tattoo ink that is RFID capable, so maybe that will be utilized. What's certain is that this will be forced upon all people and you won't be able to get a job, buy food, go to the doctor, have a bank account, or pretty much have any way to “buy or sell” unless you submit. This will undoubtedly come with some sort of oath or pledge of allegiance to the Antichrist and his government. It may even mean conversion to Islam. This will also be a superhighway straight to hell. Any person who takes the mark of the beast is condemned by God. It will be a horrible time for the people who worship the one true God, Jesus Christ. This is what is termed as the Great Tribulation.

The Antichrist will “cause craft to prosper”. He will “understand dark sentences”. There will very likely be many people who will start to use dark and evil power to perform sorcery and witchcraft.

So, will Islam rule the world?

Kepemimpinan berkemajuan

Berbicara tentang kepemimpinan di Indonesia, biasanya kita lantas terjebak pada pembicaraan ‘siapa yang tepat menduduki posisi orang nomor satu”. Berbagai analisis digunakan untuk mencari pribadi-pribadi yang dinilai layak untuk duduk disana. Tatkala nihil tak ada satupun yang dinilai memenuhi syarat seperti yang dikonsepsikan, beralihlah optimisme (jika ada) menjadi pesimisme. Seolah-olah pemimpin harus menghadirkan dirinya dari ‘dunia sana’. Sementara kita tinggal lagi mengidentifikasi orang yang terberkati itu. Bila ternyata yang terberkati itu tidak ditemukan, maka kita akan sabar menunggu sampai ia datang.

   ‘ Niteni’, 
demikian istilah orang jawa untuk menyebutkan proses menunggu pemimpin yang dinantikan. Bahkan nama calon pemimpin yang entah siapa dan entah kapan datangnya itu telah pula yakni tentang ‘satrio piningit’, Imam Mahdi, Ratu Erucakra,  dan sebagainya. Keadaan demikian menggambarkan dengan jelas adanya suatu kebutuhan akan pemimpin yang dipercaya bisa membawa masyarakat ke kemakmuran yang diidam-idamkan. Dalam konsepsi kosmologi jawa, kemakmuran itu terkait dengan kesejahteraan batin dimana segala sesuatunya selaras dan harmonis (Magnis-Suseno, 2001). Dalam bahasa populer, kemakmuran diterjemahkan sebagai kemudahan dalam memenuhi kebutuhan dimana orang tidak kesulitan memenuhi kebutuhan hidupnya dan tidak pula kesusahan untuk meningkatkan taraf hidupnya . Fakta ini sekaligus juga menyiratkan kepada kita bahwa masyarakat sangatlah cerdas untuk merasakan bahwa kondisi buruk yang terjadi tidak lain karena ulah para pemimpin mereka juga. Para pemimpin yang gagal mengemban kewajiban sebagai pemimpin.

B. Herry Priyono dalam tulisannya yang berjudul ‘ Kepemimpinan Republik’menjelaskan dengan lugas beberapa hal yang membuat masyarakat begitu rindu akan seorang pemimpin.

Pertama,kita belum beranjak dari masa kanak-kanak ketika apa yang memikat adalah dongeng tentang orang-orang hebat, mistik ataupun riil. Moralitas kita disangga oleh rasa terpesona pada kegagahan tokoh-tokoh besar. Meminjam bahasa Jung, ini merupakan ketidaksadaran kolektif kita manusia Indonesia.

Kedua, kegemaran itu adalah bagian dari pemujaan pahlawan. Saat kesesakan, kesusahan, dan kerusakan datang, kita telah terkontruksi untuk menunggu adanya seorang pahlawan yang datang untuk membebaskan, persis seperti cerita dalam dongeng-dongeng. Makin akut kesesakan yang terjadi semakin rindu akan hadirnya pemimpin yang menyelamatkan.

Ketiga,gejala itu merupakan cara kita untuk membebankan solusi masalah pada pemimpin. Istilah jawa “pasrah bongkokan’ cukup relevan untuk menggambarkan hal ini.

Keempat, pembicaraan mengenai pemimpin berakar pada truisme bahwa masalah yang kita alami merupakan hasil relasi timbal balik antara tindakan manusia dan struktur sosial. Tidak ada struktur sosial yang tidak melibatkan pelaku/tindakan, sebagaimana juga tidak ada tindakan yang dilakukan di luar struktur tertentu. Kita memang bisa menunjuk tegas siapa yang berkorupsi, akan tetapi mereka semua bertindak dalam struktur sosial dimana semua orang terlibat dalam mekanisme yang korup itu. Artinya tindakan korupsi terstruktur dalam suatu tatanan sosial yang disetujui bersama secara diam-diam, tapi menjadi rahasia umum. Karena masalah masyarakat diakibatkan oleh orang-orang yang nyata ada atau konkret, pemecahannya juga menyangkut koordinasi tindakan. Koordinasi memerlukan koordinator, dan koordinator ini adalah nama lain bagi ‘pemimpin’. Ketika kita menjadi begitu tak berdaya atas budaya korup yang menggila, maka kerinduan akan seorang pemimpin yang mampu mengkoordinasi tindakan dalam pemberantasan korupor sangatlah dirindukan.

Kelima, kontoversi tentang kepemimpinan adalah kombinasi keempat pokok diatas. Apa yang harus dilakukan seorang pemimpin di Indonesia?

Kepemimpinan pada dasarnya merupakan pola hubungan antara individu-individu yang menggunakan wewenang dan pengaruhnya terhadap kelompok orang agar bekerja bersama-sama untuk mencapai tujuan (Fiedler, 1967). Dalam pengertian Fiedler diatas, terang kepada kita bahwa pemimpin yang berhasil mestilah seseorang yang mampu membangun pola hubungan yang baik dengan followernya, mampu menggunakan wewenang dan pengaruhnya dalam proporsi dan situasi yang tepat untuk membawa followernya bersama-sama bergerak dalam irama langkah teratur menuju tujuan yang telah ditetapkan sebelumnya. Untuk Indonesia, para founding fathers telah membuat rumusan yang begitu jelas dan tegas sebagaimana tertuang dalam pembukaan dasar UUD 45 mengenai tujuan dan arah kemana bangsa ini dibawa. Tujuan dan arah itu tidak usang karena tujuan dan arah itu merupakan tujuan universal kemanusiaan. Oleh karena itu sebenarnya sekarang tinggal lagi bagaimana mewujudkannya. Ironisnya, setelah lebih dari setengah abad Indonesia merdeka seolah-olah arah jalan Indonesia semakin menjauh dari koridor yang telah ditetapkan semula, yakni koridor yang menjadi tujuan suatu Indonesia yang merdeka.

Persoalan mendasar bagi Indonesia saat ini adalah perbenturan antara dua sistem ekonomi. Liberalisasi ekonomi atau ekonomi sosialis? Kemenangan tampaknya sedang berpihak pada liberalisasi ekonomi. Akibatnya, segala sesuatu dikomoditaskan. Kebijakan-kebijakan pemerintah menjadi tidak populer di mata rakyat, kalau tidak bisa dibilang kejam. Pencabutan berbagai subsidi dan kenaikan harga berbagai kebutuhan mendasar dilakukan terus menerus. Petani yang merupakan mayoritas di negeri ini terpinggirkan. Bukan terpinggirkan karena mereka tidak memiliki keunggulan, tapi karena secara struktural mereka memang sengaja dipinggirkan demi kepentingan dunia industri yang diyakini lebih cepat membantu kepulihan ekonomi Indonesia. Tidaklah mengherankan bila dari tahun ke tahun kehidupan petani semakin merosot. Tidak pula mengherankan bila tidak akan ada seorang anakpun yang menjawab ‘petani’ jika ditanya cita-citanya kelak. Intinya, kebijakan ekonomi tidak berpihak pada umumnya rakyat. Oleh karena itu, seorang pemimpin Indonesia harus mengarahkan kebijakannya demi rakyat. Ekonomi sosialis harus menjadi pertimbangan. Kita bisa mencontoh Malaysia atau Thailand dalam hal ini.

Persoalan penting lainnya adalah persoalan moralitas yang dianggap paling bertanggung jawab terhadap kondisi Indonesia saat ini. Korupsi, suap, nepotisme telah sampai pada taraf sangat dimaklumi. Masyarakat justru akan mengernyitkan dahi bila diberitakan ada pejabat yang benar-benar bersih. Sembari tentu saja sesudahnya akan bersyukur “syukurlah, masih ada orang yang lurus di negeri ini”. Seorang pemimpin Indonesia haruslah melakukan upaya konkret melakukan perbaikan moralitas.

Permasalahan yang menghadang selanjutnya adalah persoalan ketidakstabilan masyarakat. Masyarakat mudah sekali bergejolak. Mereka sangat rentan tehadap perubahan. Indonesia menyimpan potensi konflik sangat besar. Perbedaan-perbedaan yang seharusnya bisa memperkaya kehidupan berbangsa seringkali justru dimanfaatkan para pemimpin sebagai alat politik untuk memperoleh kekuasaan. Akibatnya perbedaan melahirkan pertikaian yang tidak usai-usai. Memanajemen konflik antar anak bangsa, itulah yang harus dilakukan seorang pemimpin Indonesia. Bukan saja setelah terjadinya, tapi terpenting untuk mencegahnya.

Persoalan terakhir menurut saya adalah rendahnya kualitas manusia Indonesia. Hal ini tidak lain disebabkan karena diabaikannya sektor pendidikan selama puluhan tahun. Sekarang Indonesia memakan buah dari kealpaannya. Padahal dalam sejarahnya tidak pernah suatu bangsa akan maju dan berkembang bila mengabaikan pendidikan rakyat. Aristoteles telah menuliskan hal ini ribuan tahun lalu. Tapi tampaknya pemerintah Indonesia melupakan ajaran bijak yang telah terbukti khasiatnya itu. Di masa mendatang, pemimpin yang memperhatikan, perduli dan memprioritaskan pendidikanlah yang akan bisa membawa Indonesia kembali ke jalur yang benar sebagai bangsa yang besar.

Konsep dan Praksis Sosial Pemimpin Indonesi

Sebenarnya terlalu klise membicarakan ciri-ciri pemimpin Indonesia seperti apakah yang bisa membawa bangsa ini ke perubahan yang positif. Akan tetapi tampaknya pemimpin yang transformasional adalah kepemimpinan yang tepat di Indonesia untuk saat ini. Indonesia memerlukan pemimpin yang memiliki intelektualitas dalam arti luas. Tidak hanya mampu memahami semua persoalan dengan baik tetapi juga mampu menangkap berbagai esensi dari persoalan itu dan membuat kebijakan yang tepat. Ia akan berpihak pada intelektualitas yang murni yakni demi kepentingan seluruh rakyat ketimbang demi kemakmuran segolongan orang tertentu saja. Lebih dari itu, ia juga mampu menstimulasi intelektualitas seluruh rakyat untuk menjadi kritis. Dalam terma ini, seorang pemimpin demikian pastilah sangat menekankan pentingnya pendidikan bagi keseluruhan rakyat.

Mengikuti pendapat Bass (1985) seorang pemimpin yang transformasional mestilah juga kharismatik. Ia memiliki integritas kepribadian dan moral yang baik. Pemimpin yang demikian pastilah akan mementingkan upaya penegakan moralitas dalam kehidupan berbangsa dan bernegara. Pemberantasan korupsi, suap, dan nepotisme, serta berbagai indisipliner akan mendapatkan perhatian sangat serius.

Seorang pemimpin transformasional adalah yang memiliki individiual consideration yang tinggi. Hal ini merupakan bahasa lain dari kemampuan memanajemen perbedaan. Indonesia sangat memerlukan tipe pemimpin seperti ini karena indonesia sangat plural. Kemampuan memanajemen konflik sangatlah vital. Menurut Chemers dan Ayman (1993) setidaknya ada empat karakter penting dalam kepemimpinan organisasi multikultural, seperti halnya Indonesia, atau institusi dan lembaga yang bekerja di Indonesia, yaitu:
1. Pribadi yang memiliki visi yang luas, yang mengakui dan mendukung perbedaan dalam
komunitas organisasi. Pemimpin seharusnya memiliki rencana jangka panjang termasuk
memperkerjakan karyawan yang berasal dari berbagai latar belakang budaya pada semua
level organisasi.
2. Memiliki pengetahuan yang luas mengenai dimensi –dimensi diversitas dan memiliki
kesadaran mengenai permasalahan multikultural.
3. Terbuka untuk melakukan perubahan di dalam dirinya
4. Membimbing dan mengarahkan pegawai yang berbeda-beda latar belakang budayanya.

   Halo... Pakabar sahabat Bakul getuk?
Tulisan ini khusus buat yang sudah menikah. Ngomongin masalah asmara, memang engga ada habisnya.
Rumah tangga bahagia yang harmonis dilihat dari sexnya yang bergairah. Banyak wanita akan berkata, "saya melayani suami seperti biasa, dan tidak pernah menolak permintaannya untuk bercinta, meskipun sedang letih." Benar, anda melayani suami dan tidak menolaknya, tapi ada antusiasme yang hilang seiring perjalanan waktu. Pria membutuhkan bukan hanya sekedar seks, tapi kegairahan dalam aktivitas seks itu sendiri. Singkatnya : Pria rindu merasa diinginkan. 
    Apa ruginya bagi anda melayani suami dengan antusias dan bergairah? Buatlah dia merasa menjadi seperti seorang pangeran tampan yang didambakan semua wanita, namun anda yang dipilih menjadi permaisuri untuk melayaninya di tempat tidur.
    Tidak Merasa Dihargai. Jangan pernah berpikir bahwa hanya wanita yang senang dipuji. Suami anda perlu mendengar dari mulut anda, betapa hebatnya dia.  Tidak perlu menunggu dia melakukan sesuatu yang luar biasa seperti membelikan anda mobil baru atau sebuah cincin berlian untuk memujinya setinggi langit.
   Hal-hal kecil yang dilakukannya untuk anda, patut mendapatkan apresiasi yang pantas, dan katakanlah itu sambil memandang matanya dengan mesra. "Papa memang hebat soal memperbaiki laptop yang rusak, padahal bukan tukang insyinyur..." Tidak ada salahnya mengatakan ini kepada suami anda, meskipun yang dia lakukan hanya menekan tombol power pada laptop, yang tadinya lupa anda lakukan dan menganggap laptop tidak berfungsi. Berikan pujian kepada suami anda, sebelum wanita lain melakukannya.
   Kedekatan Emosional yang Hilang dalam Hubungan Suami-Istri. Jangan melulu berbincang tentang kebutuhan anak anak dan rumah tangga yang tidak ada habis habisnya. Cari topik pembicaraan yang menarik dan menggairahkan.
   Pria senang dan bahagia membuat wanita yang dicintainya terkesan. Biarkan dia bicara, dan katakan betapa pintarnya dia. Tidak usah heran mengapa banyak pria intelek berselingkuh dengan wanita biasa biasa yang pendidikannya biasa. Dengan wanita seperti itu, pria merasa dikagumi.  Sesuatu yang mungkin sudah lama hilang dari tatapan mata istrinya.
   Pandangan kekaguman yang mampu mem-booster ego-nya dalam sekejap. Saya sering menatap penuh kekaguman kepada suami sambil berpikir..."bagaimana mungkin pria sekalem ini bisa jatuh cinta dan tergila-gila dengan wanita tomboi yang tidak sabaran seperti saya?."  Mungkin tatapan itulah yang membuatnya tetap tergila gila...(boleh dong sekali kali pe-de....)
   Pujian Di Depan Umum. Wanita manapun akan bahagia menikmati tatapan penuh kekaguman atau pujian yang dilontarkan pria di depan umum. Pria juga demikian, pada kadar dan cara yang berbeda. Sering wanita lalai atau menganggap suaminya tidak lagi membutuhkan pujian nyata di depan orang lain. Pria butuh merasa menjadi Numero Uno bagi wanitanya.
   Cara yang paling jitu adalah memujinya di depan orang lain, diantara sahabat atau keluarga pada acara acara non formal, dengan gaya yang tidak norak. Saya selalu mengatakan, dan memang ini benar bahwa"suami saya luar biasa perhatiannya terhadap anak anak."Ketika saya mengatakan ini di depan umum, matanya selalu berbinar.It makes him happy, and so I am happy.
   Menjaga Penampilan Tetap Menarik. Pria adalah makhluk visual. Anda tidak harus selalu tampil full make up seperti ratu setiap saat. Tapi bagaimanapun juga, pria menganggap wanita adalah sumber keindahan dan inspirasi. Tidak ada ruginya menjaga penampilan agar rapih dan wangi. Ketika suami pulang ke rumah setelah seharian capek bekerja, maka manjakan matanya dengan penampilan menarik dan senyum kerinduan.

BEBERAPA MITOS GERHANA

     Selamat malem sobat Bakul getuk baru saja kemarin terjadi fenomena alam yang indah dimalam hari (gerhana bulan) tahukah kamu dibalik misteri gerhana bulan banyak cerita mitos yang di percaya sebagian masyarakat.
Dari mulai orang awam hingga para ahli menunggu datangnya fenomena alam yang cenderung langka terjadi itu.
    Menurut BMKG, fenomena supermoon ini terjadi setelah 36 tahun lalu di Indonesia, sedangkan di AS lebih lama lagi yakni 100 tahun yang lalu.
    Diluar ketertarikan orang untuk menyaksikan supermoon, beragam mitos berbau mistis masih terus mengiringi supermoon meskipun kita sudah berada di era modern seperti sekarang ini.
Masih banyak orang yang percaya dengan adanya mitos.

1. Kebaikan berlipat

5. Jangan memandang dan menunjuk langsung gerhana bulan

Sebuah takhayul dari Kepulauan Inggris memperingatkan agar tidak menatap bulan. Rupanya, pria yang berada di dalamnya merasa sangat tidak sopan. Ini dianggap sangat kasar padahal jika Anda menunjuk sembilan kali di bulan darah Anda akan ditolak masuk ke Surga. Seperti itu.

6. Balikkan kasur Untuk Kesuburan

Zaman dahulu kala juga orang percaya agar orang menjadi subur dan memiliki anak, maka wajib membalikan tempat tidur mereka saat supermoon, agar kesuburan segera mengampiri. Ini sama sekali tidak terbukti secara ilmiah.

7. Melihat Bulan Melalui Kaca Membawa Kesuksesan

Kita semua harus melihat gerhana matahari melalui kacamata, tapi ketika terjadi gerhana bulan itu tidak diperlukan.

8. Perubahan Sudah Datang

Banyak suku asli Amerika mengatakan gerhana bulan adalah tanda transformasi untuk datang ke Bumi (berdasarkan kepercayaan mereka bahwa bulan mengendalikan dan mengatur planet kita). Dan jika Anda ingin berubah, inilah waktu yang tepat.

CINTAKU JARAK JAUH

   

Hubungan jarak jauh merupakan hubungan percintaan di antara sepasang kekasih yang berjauhan di antara satu sama lain.
Banyak pasangan yang menjalai cinta jarak jauh berikutan dengan kemudahan Internet dan sistem telekomunikasi mudah alih yang semakin pesat di jaman sekarang ini.
Cinta jarak jauh akan terjalin sekiranya pasangan saling percaya.
Kekuatan cinta jarak jauh sebenarnya terletak kepada pasangan itu sendiri. Banyak pasangan yang berpendapat bahawa cinta jarak jauh sukar untuk bertahan lama. Ini adalah kerana mereka tidak berusaha untuk menjadikan cinta jarak jauh mereka sebagai satu tanggungjawab untuk mereka pertahankan. Cinta merupakan satu ukuran asas pengalaman manusia yang memberikan antaranya, perasaan kasih sayang , tarikan , asas kemesraan dan keserasian antara pesorangan , rela berkorban untuk orang lain, perasaan tertarik dan hubungan kepada alam, benda hidup ataupun makhluk lain. Ia dapat ditunjukkan melalui perasaan , emosi , kelakuan , pemikiran , persepsi dan sikap . Ia mempengaruhi, mendasari dan menentukan pola utamahubungan antara perorangan dan pengenalan diri .
     Beberapa bahasa, termasuk bahasa Indonesia apabila dibandingkan dengan beberapa bahasa mutakhir di Eropah , terlihat lebih banyak kosa katanya dalam mengungkapkankonsep ini. Antaranya ialah kasih, sayang, rindu, dan berahi.
    Cinta jarak jauh merupakan situasi di mana sepasang kekasih(yang halal)berjauhan di antara satu sama lain.Manusia sering menginginkan cinta.Dalam cinta ada suatu ketulusan perasaan yang membuatkan manusia yang merasainya gembira, sedih, rasa keyakinan, rasa dimiliki, dan sebagainya.
Cinta pertama ialah cinta yang penuh rasa dan sulit dilupakan walaupun sudah mencintai orang lain.
Dalam cinta biasanya tersimpan seribu macam perasaan yang amat sukar digambarkan. bermula dengan rasa suka, hati berdetak, mulut tersenyum tanpa bicara, muka bertambah seri, dan akhirnya cinta itu menjadi milik kita. Amat mudah untuk melafazkan cinta, tetapi amat mudah juga melupakan cinta. Cinta yang sejati lahir dari hati yang tulus.
Sedangkan cintaku padamu tutus apadanya, sanggup ku lakukan hal gila disaat sedang dilanda asmara, takan pernah ku bisa lupa atau hentikan cintaku padamu tulus suci selamanya.

Jalan-jalan sumber inspirasi

Ketika otak buntu engga ada sesuatu untuk di tulis apa seperti gue, refreshing atau sekedar nyari udara segar diluar tentu sangat perlu, selain buat cari inspirasi juga sebagai ajang bersosialisasi sesama BMI. Berlama-lama di Rumah selalu berhadapan dengan kerja-kerja kadang membosankan, perlu suasana baru biar badan feres dan semangat kembali.
Karenanya bagi temen-temen yang kerjaannya tiap hari kerja dan kerja sesekali deh... cari hiburan buat nyari udara segar. Yang penting sendi-sendi serta otot badan tidak pegal-pegal, yang kita perlu, sekali-kali carilah hiburan, murah tetapi menyenangkan seperti jalan-jalan ke pantai atau tempat rekreasi lainnya. Begitupun gue, kalau udah ngerasa suntuk banget mesti kudu nyempetin diri gabung sama temen-temen sekedar main atau nongkrong-nongkrong di kafe terdekat.
Seperti hari ini bertemu temen dan kawan bicara atau bercanda ngalor-ngidul yang penting hepy dengan topik ringan seperti biasanya. Sampai topiknya meruncing ngomongin jalan-jalan. 
Rencana berangkat pukul sembilanpun harus delay 2 jam karena nunggu salah satu temen yang emang suka ngaret (termasuk gue juga sih). Total yang berangkat ada 5orang naik bus kota, mau berangkat ada satu hal yang sangat krusial yang kami lupakan : “Kita mau ke Pantai mana ?” . Gue sebenernya agak ragu “ emangnya ada pantai di kota ini yang bisa dipakai buat berenang ? ” soalnya sepengetahuan gue pantai-pantainya itu kayak langsung palung, enggak ada datarannya seperti pangandaran atau pantai lainnya.
Perjalananpun dimulai, sekitar jam 11 kami naik Bus Rutenya cukup mudah, dan murah waktu tempuh perjalanan memakan waktu sekitar satu jam dengan keadaan lalu lintas lancar. Memasuki jalan menuju pantaipun intensitas kendaraan terbilang sangat sepi, hanya satu dua kendaraan penduduk yang pulang pergi sekedar belanja kepuasan, karena memang hari libur. Kalau diperhatikan, jalan menuju pantai Bandar masih sejuk dan asri. Disepanjang jalan kita disuguhi pemandangan hijaunya taman kota atau sejuknya pepohonan Rimba
Kamipun tiba di Pantai Bandar, pemandangannya indah namun sepi. Terlihat hamparan karang tertutup air surut yang berkilau memantulkan cahaya mentari tengah hari. Disebelahnya mengapung sebuah Rumah-rumah air  hilir-mudik perahu-perahu membelah pantai. Ah, tenang sekali pikir gue. Suara gemuruh ombak terdengar sayup-sayup sunyi, seketika menenggelamkan penat dan gemuruh suara bising ibu kota yang saban hari gue saksikan. Kamipun berteduh di tenda sekitar sambil meneguk segarnya air kelapa muda yang dibeli dari masyarakat setempat. Belum ada yang berani menapaki indahnya pantai, suhu tengah hari pantai sementara menahan rasa penasaran kami bahkan untuk menyentuh air lautnya saja. Termasuk gue yang masih bertanya-tanya dalam hati : “ tempat berenangnya sebelah mana nih, kok gak ada orang yang main air.. “.
Entah sok atau memang gak sabar, satu dari kami memberanikan diri membuncah air laut pantai bertelanjang kaki menusuri hangatnya pasir pesisir. Sontak kamipun tercambuk untuk melakukan hal yang serupa, berkeliling melihat-lihat keindahan laut sekitar.
  Capenya kami terobati dengan banyaknya ikan-ikan yang berenang disekeliling wilayah karang. Kami berusaha menangkap ikan-ikat tersebut, sayangnya di sekitar pantai enggak ada jasa penyewaan alat buat nangkap ikan. Salah satu teman gue berinisiatif menggunakan bajunya sebagai media penangkap ikan. Awalnya kami menyangka itu akan efektif, kenyataan dilapangan lain. Sangat susah dan useless. Selain banyak ikan-ikan kecil, di sekitar karang juga banyak ditemukan bintang laut dan binatang gak bertulang belakang lainnya yang setiap kami berjalan melewati karang pasti keinjak saking banyaknya.
Berjam-jam sudah kami bermain dengan hewan-hewan tersebut, kamipun merapatkan diri meninggalkan gerak gemulai ikan yang tak kunjung kami dapatkan menuju pinggir-pinggir pantai. Sesekali kami membaringkan diri dihamparan karang. Airnya hangat, tanda mentari belum mau mengakhiri hari. Masih sepi, dan sepertinya hanya kami yang dan beberapa pengunjung lain yang asyik dengan gemercik air. Terlihat semakin siang semakin banyak pengunjung memenuhi tenda-tenda peristirahatan.
Dipinggiran pantai ternyata bukan hanya ikan-ikan kecil saja yang kita temukan, banyak sekali ditemukan keong atau umang-umang berukuran kecil sampai sedang disana. Kamipun menemukan mainan baru, balap umang! Go go!
Dan ini keasyikan kami bermain dengan umang-umang tersebut, seakan lupa kami sudah berkepala dua.
Hari mulai sore, sebelum terlalu sore kami puas-puasin bermain air disana. Berjalan lebih jauh, kami menemukan sebuah batu karang besar dengan tempat mirip selokan disekelilingnya. Tempat yang bagus untuk berendam. Daripada enggak ada sama sekali. ya kan.
Di ujung karang tersebut terdapat sebuah lubang yang menghubungkan ujung satu dengan ujung lainnya. Kamipun sepakat untuk membuat sebuah tantangan, yang gak bisa melewati lubang itu maka fix, dia copo! Beberapa dari kami ada yang berani mencoba, yang lainnya tidak. Gue harus bilang ini tantangan yang enggak penting banget. Tapi itulah hiburan, kita emang gak dapet apa-apa, seenggaknya kita bisa ketawa bareng-bareng, seneng bareng-bareng. Kalau Patrick Star bilang :
Meskipun lubangnya sempit, tapi teman gue yang badannya paling gede tetep aja bisa masuk. Entah apa motivasinya ngelakuin hal yang gak penting yang bisa ngebuat badannya nyelip diantara karang-karang. Mungkin udah passion nya dia sih.
Begitupun gue, terpancing untuk menaklukan tantangan ‘gak penting’ ini. Daripada mereka meragukan kejantanan serta kepiawayan gue dalam melakukan hal-hal gak penting, mending gue jabanin aja ini tantangan. Dan hasilnya sungguh membanggakan, gue akhirnya lolos juga. Yatta~
Dari atas kita bisa melihat pemandangan yang sangat menabjukan karya Sang Maha Semesta. Hamparan laut luas membiru terlentang horizon tanpa batas. Deburan ombak yang saling bercumbu dengan karang mengingatkan kita bahwa benda lentur seperti airpun bisa menjadi kuat saat bersama-sama dengan jenisnya. Kami takjub, ternyata kami enggak ada apa-apanya dibandingkan samudra ini, terkadang kami berfikir lantas untuk apa kami bersombong. Jika dibandingkan dengan milyaran kubik air laut ini, kami hanya setitik air mani hina yang berbentuk dan membesar seiring waktu.
Sebagai oleh-oleh terakhir, kamipun menyempaktkan diri untuk foto bersama. Sebagai kenang-kenangan bahwa kami pernah mengalami pengalaman yang menyenangkan bareng-bareng. Dan karena suatu saat gue pasti bakalan kangen masa-masa seperti ini, makannya gue berniat istiqomah nulis pengalaman lewat blog seperti ini. Kenangan emang gak bakal hilang, namun manusia adalah tempat lupa. Bukankah saat tua nanti yang kita ingin ingat adalah masa-masa yang menyenangkan ?

Obrolan warung kopi pasar paing

Selamat malam sahabat Bakul getuk. Pengin tidur tapi belum ngantuk, mungkin efek minum kopi yang saya sedu sendiri dan belum juga habis. Untuk menemani nulis artikel:

Sebuah gubuk sederhana dengan dua buah pintu pada sisi kanan dan kiri serta sebuah jendela semata wayang mengapitnya di tengahnya, disitu masih menunjukan aktivitas sore.  Mungkin inilah satu-satunya warung yang buka duapuluh empat jam di pasar ini.

Dengan penerangan lampu pijar seadanya dan kedua buah pintu yang hanya ditutup selembar tipis kain gorden lusuh warung ini malah terlihat ramah dan menanti orang-orang yang hendak Singgah. Pasar paling sebuah lokasi favorit penduduk kelas menengah ke bawah untuk bersosialisasi yang jaraknya kurang dari dua kilometer jauhnya dari rumah. Di sinilah terdapat sebuah warung kopi yang mulai buka sebelum hari Pasaran Paling tiba, itu artinya warung kopi ini buka tiap lima hari sekali dan selalu ramai bukan karena menunya yang istimewa, atau tempatnya yang mewah, maupun pemiliknya yang rupawan serta ramah. Warung ini menawarkan sebuah pengalaman sederhana yang justru saat ini orang jarang melakukannya, bersosialisasi langsung dengan cara berbagi cerita satu sama lainnya.

Sore itu, sama seperti Sore-sore pasaran sebelumnya yaitu kebiasaan saya tiap hari pasaran tiba, saya akan menyempatkan datang ke tempat ini, hanya sekedar untuk menikmati kopi pahit sambil ngobrol dengan sesama pecinta kopi. 

 Dari kejauhan sudah terdengar obrolan dan tercium kepulan asap rokok lintingan khas pedesaan yang baunya begitu khas beraroma campuran tembakau dengan kemenyan. 

Seorang kakek-kakek tengah duduk santai dengan satu kakinya diletakan di atas sebuah bangku kayu sederhana, sementara tangan satunya tengah asik memegang lintingan rokok kemenyan yang terus mengepulkan asap hingga memenuhi seisi ruangan sempit ini. Sembari bercerita sesekali mulutnya menghisap lintingan terlihat asap mengepul dari ulutnya yang terus komat-kamit berbicara has ngapak di depan meja yang tertutup taplak dari bekas spanduk reklame sebuah rokok, terlihat seorang perempuan berambut ikal yang tengah mendengarkan dengan seksama cerita dari si kakek tadi.

Sementara itu perempuan berkulit legam dengan  rambut panjangnya yang disanggul ala kadarnya dan tengah menghadap sebuah tungku “pawon” itu adalah pemilik warung. Ibu Pinah nama perempuan pemilik warung kopi jadul yang masih mencoba bertahan di tengaheuforia berbagai jenis warung makan baru di pasar desa ini.

“Asalamualaikum” sela saya saat memasuki warung pecel ini yang tengah ramai dengan obrolan beberapa orang di dalamnya.

Dari balik meja sudah  tersungging senyum manis Ibu Pinah yang sudah hafal betul dengan kedatangan saya sore itu.

“Sugeng sonten, mas” . Jawab Ibu Pingah dengan muka sumringah.

Kali ini saya langsung memesan secangkir kopi dengan gorengan tempe favorit. Sambil mendengarkan obrolan ketiga orang yang sempat terhenti dan kini berlanjut kembali. 

“Ah ini yang selalu saya suka dari tempat ini”  Sahut saya dalam hati.

Saya pun memberanikan diri menyapa kakek dan perempuan yang tengah seru-serunya berbincang.

“Sugeng sonten” -yang langsung dibalas dengan senyum dan lontaran pertanyaan.

“Sering mengeneh, mas ??” tanya sang kakek.

“Wah, meh unggal minggu teng mriki, kek” Jawab saya dengan melempar senyum kecil. 

Kakek tadi bernama parjo, pemilik warung Ibu Pinah dan perempuan satunya adalah cucunya, Maryati yang semlohe, menjadi dayatarik pengunjung berlama-lama di sini. Ketiganya merupakan satu saudara tiga generasi, kakek, anak dan cucu.

Ibu Painah yang dari tadi sibuk membolak-balik isi wajan penggorengan berupa gorengan ketan dan tempe mendoan serta sesekali menambah kayu bakar ke dalam mulut tungku kayu bakarnya pun ikutan nimbrungmenimpali dalam bahasa ngapak Banyumasan 

“Kie li anake pak Nur Kasan, putune allmarhum kaki  santareja pejengkolan

Kini setelah tahu jika saya adalah cucu dari almarhum Kakeh Mahwari, rasa antusiasnya pun makin menjadi. Setidaknya saya bisa tahu dari cara duduknya yang kini berubah dari posisi santai ke posisi sejajar dengan bahu tegap. Matanya pun kini berbinar dan kepulan asap rokoknya kian meredup.

Pandangannya kini beralih pada langit-langit warung yang penuh bekas jelaga legam dan sarang laba-laba. Waktu seakan hendak mundur beberapa puluh tahun ke belakang dan saya pun ikut merasakannya.

“Gemien, kaki-mu karo aku kue, kancanan. Jaman gemien esih sering latian “terbangan” bareng giliran meng umah-umah”.

Kakek santareja seakan tengah mengenang masa-masa manis saat masih muda dulu dan senyum tanda kebahagiaan tersungging manis dari bibir keriput dan legam.

“Ooo, brarti mbiyen, kakek satar niku kancane kakine kulo?” 

“Iya, kancanan. Gemien jamanku esih akeh kanca sebayan sing ndue kesenangan pada, tapi siki wis pada ra ana” 

Memang, untuk seumuran orang saat ini, kakek santareja boleh dibilang mempunyai umur yang panjang. Beliau kini berumur hampir 90 tahun, sementara rata-rata umur orang saat sekarang ini mencapai 65 tahun.

Beliau pun bercerita mengenai pengalaman hidupnya saat jaman masih muda dulu. Pernah beberapa waktu mendapat tawaran pekerjaan di kota Kembang, Bandung namun kedua orang tuanya tidak mengijinkan anaknya merantau terlalu jauh dan berharap bekerja di kampung saja. Hingga takdir yang menggariskannya untuk berjodoh dan tinggal di kampung sendiri hingga tua dengan perempuan satu kampung yang beberapa dua tahun lalu meninggalkannya untuk selama-lamanya.

Tergurat raut muka sedih dari balik senyumannya yang menandakan rasa kehilangan yang teramat sangat karena ditinggal belahan jiwanya hingga benar-benar maut yang memisahkannya.

Waktu seakan mengingatkan saya saat beberapa tahun yang lalu ketika memulai perjalanan pertama seorang diri, jauh dari rumah menuju Jakarta untuk mengadu nasib mencari pekerjaan.

Sebuah perjalanan pertama kalinya ke ibukota.

Perjalanan yang mengajarkan arti sebenarnya dari sebuah perjalanan hidup.

Perjalanan pertama selepas lulus sekolah menengah kejuruan.

Perjalanan dalam rangka mencari pengalaman kerja yang bertahan hanya beberapa bulan saja dan kembali lagi ke kampung halaman.

Sebenarnya obrolan dengan kakek santareja, ibu Painahh dan Eneng maryati masih panjang, namun saat hari makin gelap dan terdengar samar-samar suara panggilan adzan, membuat saya buru-buru meminta dibungkuskan saja seporsi pecel dan beberapa gorengan tempe mendoan yang masih mengepul dan mengurungkan diri untuk menyantapnya langsung di sini.

Dengan cukup membayar selembar uang tujuh ribuan, sore itu saya mengakhiri sebuah pengalaman baru dan makna dari sebuah perjalanan. Bahwa sebuah perjalanan mengajarkan bukan seberapa jauh kamu melangkah namun seberapa berkualitas inti dari sebuah perjalanan itu sendiri. Sebuah obrolan sederhana namun sarat makna dari dalam warung pecel di tengah Pasar paling KEBUMEN
